The answer to this question is simply NO, you will remember everything from your session as you never lose control, so, you will not be asleep, although hypnotherapy is a very relaxing experience – it is not sleep! Often times though, the command “sleep” is given by the clinical hypnotherapist upon delivering an individual into hypnosis, however, this is merely a directly issued command delivered at speed to the subconscious mind during certain hypnotic inductions.
Simply put NO! Clinical Hypnosis is worlds apart from stage hypnosis, while most peoples very first experience of hypnosis has usually been from a comedy hypnosis show, they remember seeing or maybe taking part in during college or office parties or for others while on holiday, this can oftentimes create a sense of fear of hypnosis. While stage hypnosis can be quite entertaining, clinical hypnotherapy is completely different in every respect as it is carried out in a therapeutic clinical setting with a highly trained, ethical and skilled clinical hypnotist.
Again NO, we as clinical hypnotherapists spend our whole time within all of our Advance Hypnosis Clinics intently giving back the control to each individual we work with, in fact! each individual experiencing hypnosis for the purpose of hypnotherapy simply regains the control back in their lives that they had somehow lost.
The answer to this is YES, Hypnosis for the purpose of Hypnotherapy is always an immensely enjoyable experience when delivered by the right Hypnotherapist with the right skills and experience, because while in Hypnosis you are over 300% more aware of your surroundings and senses at all times, although being completely immersed in your Hypnotic experience. You are fully aware at all times.
While for certain therapy types it may not necessary for a prior consultation with the Hypnotherapist, it does however become a necessity when setting out to address certain more complex issues such as Resolving Trauma, Quittings Resolution, Fears & Phobias, Panic Disorders, Chronic Anxieties or even Weight-Loss, the benefits to the consultations in such interventions is as follows, it gives each individual the benefit of meeting the Hypnotherapist and for the Hypnotherapist to meet the individual also, it is during this very important consultation that the Clinical Hypnotherapist will assess more accurately and determine which therapy would be best suited to successfully address the individuals needs, this is crucially important when setting out to address some deeper more personal issues, each consultation is highly detailed and fully comprehensive, it’s that information gained during each consultation which becomes the very foundation of any Hypnotherapy intervention developed to address the issue or condition which is presented.
